The Calgary School of Samba, founded in 2001 by Malcolm Lim and Barbara Oliveira-Lim, is a funky Brazilian-inspired drum and dance ensemble.

Celso Machado is a Brazilian guitarist and composer with over 30 years of career. His music is rooted in Brazilian rhythmic and melodic styles: samba, choro, baião, frevo, etc. Celso is performing at the BrazilFest from 6 to 6:30pm and at the Engineered Air Theatre, EPCOR Centre at 8pm presented by the Classical Guitar Society

6:30pm Giovana Bervian is a Brazilian singer with classical and popular training. She focused her solo career on Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) and folk songs typical of the southern region of Brazil.
